Shailaja is a graduate in Child Psychology and holds a diploma in interior design. She was proprietor at her own business in designing interiors & ran it successfully for 15 years from 1994 – 2009. She has also worked as Director, Kisan Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd during 2000 – 2014.
Her urge to work in environmental field was a driving force for doing a diploma course in “Sustainable Management of Natural Resources & Nature Conservation” from Ecological Society. She has also done field botany courses. She has worked as coordinator for a project undertaken by Ecological Society for Global Forest Watch.
From 2014 onwards working on Revival of Rivers. She is an active member of Jeevitnadi group, spearheading activities with her excellent communication and leadership skills. She is practicing Toxin free life style in her own house since last 3 years. Actively participating in various workshops and presentations on Toxin free lifestyle organized by Jeevitnadi.
